Jayme Gomez - Sickle Cell Anemia

The doctors at Oncology Consultants constantly upgrade themselves in the field Hematology which was beneficial to my treatment. Knowing that they use innovative ideas and modern techniques affirms my trust in them. Having an input in my treatment plan, while still being treated with dignity and respect is very important to me. Even in the worst circumstances, the staff of Oncology Consultants was always accommodating, positive, and efficient; which is conducive to optimal health and healing.

Gary Sweeting - Colon Cancer

In 2005, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. While on vacation in Florida I went to the Cleveland Clinic where they discovered I had colon cancer. When it was time for my treatment, we made the decision to have my treatment in Nassau with Dr. Turnquest. The Lord directed me there. You would not find a more wonderful doctor. He always listens and does all that he can for you. I never regretted my decision. For seven years I’ve been cancer free. I give praise to the almighty God and special thanks to Dr. Turnquest for all his kindness and may we continue this journey together.

Road to Recovery – I could hear the words resounding in my head. CANCER, CARCINOMA, DOUBLE MASTECTOMY as these foreign words continued to reverberate in my head, I could not understand what this man to trying to describe as to what was going on in my body. Gripped with intolerable fear, I knew that I didn’t want to die. As I sat there trying to comprehend the only song that brought me through this battle was “Can’t give up Now” by MARY MARY. After my treatment I don’t think about tomorrow anymore beacuse tomorrow is promised to no man. Jesus came so tht we might enjoy life.
